Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. After hearing Pastor Vernon speak at a service, I felt compelled to buy the book. I didn't have much money, but I used the little I had to purchase the book. I can honestly say this book is one of the greatest purchases I have made in my entire 27yrs of living. This book tore me up! I experienced every emotion reading this book more crying than anything.
Vernon writing style is real, practical, and easily understood. His concepts are biblically based and will cause you to think and motivate you to do this dating thing God's way. Although I'm still single with no prospects, I look forward to reading this again with the man I plan to marry.

Well, yes you will. If you're anything like me, he's gonna step on your toes and make you say ouch and you'll have to take a break, but you'll pick it back up. Your relationship and marriage will be better by reading this. This book has been such a blessing to me.
I really enjoyed your boldness to speak on the topics of sexuality, attraction, self disclosure eye opener , finances eye opener , soul ties thank you for clarity and many other topics not discussed in church. As a single mother and a Christian, the book really hit home with me. I've been looking for a Christian singles event at other places to present in my church because I personally needed it and your book honestly hit home for me. I'm very grateful that I've started quite a few task on my own that was discussed in the book prior to reading it.
I feel more confident knowing that I'm on the right track with "saving the date. I love this book. It was very raw, realistic and eye opening for me. I don't know if my friends are on this level of thinking when it comes to relationships, but there are some great points on how to find, get and maintain healthy Christian unions. It's a good dating book, the information is relevant. But if you're over 40, divorced, widowed or never married, it doesn't really speak to you. You already know what you're looking for, you have no intention on settling. Dating at this stage of life is different, you have more years behind you than in front of you. Prince Charming doesn't exist, nobody's perfect. This book offer great insight and will definitely be a reference on this dating journey.
