Product comes with everything you need for an easy fix, although the hose is smaller and longer than the original. I made due by wrapping the extra hose with bungie cords to keep it in place. The only difference between this hose and the one that came with our wide steam cleaner was the old housing was beige and the new plastic pieces are grey. Installation is very easy, and this should last as long as the old hose. This was a perfect fit for my SteamVac. Stupid design by Hoover but, that's not the hose's fault. It's pretty pricey considering the replacement cost of the entire machine but, whatever.
