The most reliable way to one-shot a T is to shoot through its upper plate. The turret shots don't reliably one-shot it and there are lots of small parts where it will troll bounce.

Having the armor concentrated on the front is much more important than having a little bit of extra rear or bottom armor. Getting an extra plane death every games isn't really a compensation. Not to mention the RU being logically too low in br to it's in-tree counterpart. It's still overperforming though, and quite noticeably. That's still plenty of equity. It is what it is unfortunately.
You have to remember premium tanks were not meant to be better than regular fully upgraded tanks of the same tier. Better than stock yes, but not full upgrade. In exchange they earn better money and train crews faster. Yes it does look like less engine power and a different gun but they've been buffed in their soft stats to be the same.
