Had an interesting dinner conversation at the table last night. Me and a bunch of friends got together for dinner. The one friend whom i didn't know , was there talking about her dating situation. She's divorced after 30 years She met a man online only, they'd been dating for 6 weeks. One day, he introduces her, audibly, to his friends as his "girlfriend" when they went out. She said it as if it was a bad thing, but apparently she accepts it?
She said she's been seeing like 2 other guys from the dating site Isn't that a little too soon? I knew women that freaked out if a man referred to them as their "girlfriend" after a short period of time dating. They've been seeing each other frequently throughout those weeks though, so maybe that qualifies it? Apparently, they have plans to take at trip out west together to see a Tennis tournament. People can want to be exclusive after only a couple of weeks, all it means is that you won't see other people because you like the person and want to see if something is there to build on, and you can't do that while seeing someone else. And for people that are older, there is usually little tolerance for games, they know what they want and are very upfront with it. Something your friend doesn't seem to understand.
If this guy were to find out, it will spell a quick end to any fledgling relationship because most men won't abide being lied to, even if it was an act of omission rather than commission.

And, while I treat my men well despite my fear of being hurt , that was too soon. Come to find out he was insecure and had control issues. The idiot had a failed marriage and after me eventually married some foreign women he dated for 6 months I am in my early 40s and my BF and I knew after our first date, that we were going to be exclusive and be in a committed relationship.
With everything else going on in our lives with kids, careers, just life in general It may go against conventional dating advice, which encourages women to flirt and even strike up a conversation. While there are always exceptions, the women I coach who are struggling with boyfriends who won't commit or husbands who ignore them almost invariably made the first contact. A man may date and even marry a woman who approached him first, but there will likely be consequences later on This goes for online dating as well.
If you talked him first or even asked him out, you can try to restore some of the feminine mystique and you forfeited as the initiator by being a bit more elusive - a little less available, a little more mysterious. If he's truly smitten by you, he'll rise to the challenge and cherish you more. If not, then let him float away now, before he wastes more of your time and ends up breaking your heart.
