The conversation went something like this. That's when shit hit the fan and I casually carted her off to another hotel in the area that had a fucking stable attached. Also had my fair share of invites up to peoples rooms working late-night front desk. Usually played it off pretty well, though. I would have loved to see how that could have escalated even more if you'd let it.

As long as she shared some of it with me. Ok so I've seen both and always wondered: Worked in a motel overnight in very rural Idaho. Was asked once if we had a large chest freezer "big enough to fit a mountain lion in". Informed guest that no, we did not. Guest proceeded to haul a huge black garbage bag down the hall. He did not know that I also volunteered in the same offices as the local game warden. Warden was called, guy was arrested; mountain lions are endangered species. Also had a nice lady book the honeymoon suite and pay for it in installments over the course of the night - each installment coming from the inside of her thigh high boots.
I googled it and the only thing that seemed possibly relevant to this discussion was a huffington post article about a club in Japan that used female asses as pillows. Not a hotel, but I worked for my school's housing dept and had somebody call and ask when the trash would get taken out and the suite bathroom would be cleaned. Apparently we were mistaken for a hotel. I worked front desk and maintenance for a summer at a hotel. The only illegal thing guests ever asked me for was a drug hookup.
A local dealer who would deliver had left his number and some free samples for a few of the front desk staff at one point, so we would always just give the guests that number. The dealer would always come by and "tip" us afterward, so it was a good arrangement. Also, I frequently had guests asking for recommendations for local bars or restaurants. The owner of one bar in town once came in and dropped off a stack of free drink coupons, so I always sent the guests there with a coupon or two. When I worked in a hotel, my co-workers and supervisor found out it was my birthday.
They took me to the 7th floor restaurant for lunch, where the restaurant manager herself waited our table. She handed out the wine list and I said, "No, I'm just on lunch, I have work after this", at which point everyone laughed at me and the restaurant manager pulled a wine bottle out of nowhere and poured me a big glass. Then afterward everything got comped. I think the free drink coupon one is pretty common. The restaurant I work at is pretty touristy and has a gift shop, so we give hotels a bunch of free souvenir coupons.
I have no idea. It was a hotel in a small town and the only hotel I've ever worked at and not everyone knew about the hookup, only the ones who were OK with it. That said, if you're discrete and the front desk worker looks like someone who may be able to help, there's nothing wrong with a quiet question.
Just don't make a big scene. A guest once got upset because I wouldn't get him coke and a hooker. He was going on and on about how the concierge in Vegas would do it for him. Well this is a family ski resort, so maybe go to Vegas next time. Is your outdoor pool heated mid winter -5 degrees outside. No it is just filled with special non-freezing water. In the summer, this one lady was staying with us by herself.
Welcome to Reddit,
She came up and asked for the closest petting zoo. I asked how old her kids were so I could better refer her or suggest other activities as I wasn't sure there even was a petting zoo close by. She said it was just her. Well I found her a local farm that would let kids come to pet the animals.

She went, and came back, and talked to me for an hour on how she pet the chickens. I feel like I've jumped the gun on calling her old.

I read it that way too I tend to glance at the next comment following a longer post before finishing it and I just read it that way when I came across it. Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.
I once had the reverse situation happen where a taxi cab driver in vegas was trying to sell me coke. It was an awkward cab ride. Well because I didn't need any more coke than the 8ball shoved up my butthole from the plane ride into town. I completely expected this to be a reply from some other smartass, not the person who made the original comment.
That being said, I'm born and raised in Los Angeles where we don't get snow and freezing temps.

Sometimes the 'common sense' is from being in those environments and some people have just never experienced it before. Being from SE Texas, I have no idea how long it would take a pool to freeze in -5 degree weather. Not sure how long it was that cold, but it could be a valid question. Worked at a small resort in North Scottsdale. I was a supervisor at the time.
A guy checked in with him and his buddies for a golf outing. The only thing we had for extra beds were air mattresses. So, after my employee clocks out at 7: Dude delivered the money.

Woman called down saying her husband fell in the shower and could not get up. I told her I would call She said she had no insurance and begged me not to. So I went down there and picked the naked pound guy up off the shower floor. He was extremely embarrassed. He is lucky I am built like Brienne of Tarth or his ass would still be on that floor.
A guest claimed he was being visited by angels in his room and asked me to come help film them. While I declined, he gave me a link to his videos that he had filmed previously. Will try my best to describe: Me, working at a very small chained hotel as evening desk clerk. No one there, killing time until shift is over, this is one of my 5 jobs at the time.
Kind of odd guy checks in, 30 something, process his stuff, on his way. It's him and this woman in the hotel besides me. I see her walk by once, but that's all, she was checked in before I got there. Damn, that's such a rip off Me- Trying desperately to keep straight face "Uh, no Sir. I'm afraid we are out of butter I worked about 6 months at that hotel, and that still stands as one of the weirdest Hotel experiences I've had.
