RedBarchetta3 26 Posted 04 June - Because due to its extremely good pen, it doesn't need it. Psyberius 27 Posted 04 June - Androyce 28 Posted 06 June - Why are the T-2, M3, T and A on the list? So the battle tiers they can be assigned to are currently identical to any other tanks of their tier. Are they just included in the case that matchmaking is changed? What is the other tier 8 heavy for the USSR?
It's above jagtiger 8,8. Is it possible to get a credit multiplier for all premium tanks, or is that too top-secret to release? If you can't make that public, can you give us a list of the top 5 credit multiplier premium tanks? It seems like the Lowe is one of the most profitable premiums in the game per damage done based on previous screenshots. CptCheez 32 Posted 10 June - That's the IS-6 Fearless, which was only available on the Russian game server.

It's the same as the IS-6, but with a camo skin. CptCheez 34 Posted 11 June - KV4 aka the fortress. GunShycc 35 Posted 20 June - I have fought TOGs on Copperfield. This says the LTP does. More Hp of tanks, more damage to do. AndyScouser 8 Posted 26 July - The T34 can damage everything it see's, maybe not frontally on some of the T10 TD's apart from cupola shots but that gun is simply a great T8 weapon Imagine it on a T32!

You will get killed more easily in the T10 battles with TD's capable of taking hp every shot, in fact ive been 1 shot in mine my the british T10 HESH gun. Saying that, the Lowe win rate is finally clawing its way back. Edited by AndyScouser, 26 July - Fighting against higher tiers is more likely to earn you experience rather than credits. Whilst you do earn more experience for dealing damage to targets above your own tier, you do not get any more credits when fighting them. Yes they do have more health, but they also have more armour and better guns meaning you'll probably die quicker.
Personally, I'd rather be in a tier 8 battle as although you may deal less potential damage than in a tier 10 game, you probably won't get killed so fast. Plus, higher tier tanks love shooting lower tiers for easy kills. They really should reward shooting tanks your own tier and above more. RockyRocks 10 Posted 26 July - Yes its true i brought it a long time back , but most of the matches i was in a tier 10 its true may be its just a luck or what ever. I do damage to tier 10's too but damage wont be good enough to earn you credits.
Still i am not convinced by this matchmaking and its gone worse after the 8. ArmouredBin 11 Posted 26 July - T34 weak against higher tiers? Richthoffen 13 Posted 02 August - Busse 14 Posted 02 August - This tank can be quite dangerous in tier 10 games. Play hull down and you will see that all tanks will have trouble in dealing with you.
You have mm front turret armor, pen on the normal ammo and on prem ammo. Take a look at the tier 10 tanks and see how much better are they at the above mentioned chapters. Indeed they have more HP and hull armor but if you play as a fox, and i mean cunning as a fox, you will be a real pain in the ass even in those matches. I find this tank on certain maps, the ones with a lot of hull down spots, when matched on tier 8 games, way overpowered. As an example, i own EL Halluf when arty is low or stupid.

Once the projectile cleared the muzzle, the pressure in the bore dropped rapidly and the high pressure remaining in the evacuator chamber caused the formation of high velocity gas to jets from the evacuator ports. These jets angled toward the muzzle, sweeping the powder gas out of the bore before the breech opened. Tests at Aberdeen and Fort Knox showed that this simple device was extremely effective and it became a standard feature of new tank guns. Although too late for the war for which they were designed, they provided invaluable service in developing these components for later tanks.
Much of the work making the early AV engine and the CD transmission a reliable power package utilized these tanks. Later, these prototypes were used in the development of other power train components, such as the XT transmission, which was tested in the T View Source View history. This article is about the American heavy tank.
For the Soviet medium tank, see T These differences are taken into account in tooltip boxes. Additional Statistics Top Configuration. Pros and Cons Pros: The gun has the third highest alpha damage and highest penetration of any Tier VIII heavy tank One of the best fully-aimed accuracy in tier, punches weak spots with relative ease Excellent gun depression with great turret face protection; good for hull down positions Surprisingly durable rear turret armor Wide tracks that offer some degree of protection if forced into side-scraping Cons: External Reviews and Opinions.

By the middle of , combat reports from Europe describing the use of heavy tanks by the Germans stimulated new interest in the development of an equivalent American vehicle. The Pershing medium tank provided an answer to the early model of the German Pz. However, although the latter was still in front line service, it had first been encountered by the US Army during By , the Germans were introducing even more heavily armed and armored vehicles, like the Pz.

Although the M26 Pershing was temporarily redesignated as a heavy tank for morale purposes, it clearly did not provide an answer to the problem. On 14 September , US forces recommended development and manufacture of four prototypes for a new heavy tank. Two of these were designated as the heavy tank T29 and were to be armed with the mm T5E1 gun.
The remaining two were designated as the heavy tank T30 and were to be armed with the mm T7 gun. History In order to further increase the firepower of the T29 prototype, the US Army undertook design studies in early to modify the mm antiaircraft gun for tank use. These studies indicated that such a weapon, designated as the mm T53 gun, would have armor piercing performance superior to that obtainable with either the mm T5E1 or the mm T7.
The new mm gun had a muzzle velocity of feet per second with a pound solid shot, and development was in progress on a lightweight HVAP round with a muzzle velocity of feet per second. On 17 May , the US Army recommended that two of the T30 prototype tanks be armed with the mm gun and redesignated as a heavy tank T This action was approved on 31 May. The following are consensus errors or inconsistencies which have been identified with the configuration of the vehicle in question and conflict with information available on the public record.
